We purchased a new Coolaroo bed for our recently rescued dog, replacing the old one that was previously used by our male Boxer. Living in Tucson, where it’s hot for half of the year, these beds are beloved by dogs because they allow for airflow and breathability. During the warm months, we keep it shaded, while in winter, it enjoys sunlight. Although the old bed could have lasted longer with a new cover, we opted for everything new for our new furry companion. The previous bed had served us for about 15 years.

Our large breed puppy absolutely adores this bed! Whenever we say “place,” he goes straight to it he’s in training to be a service dog in training (SDIT). It’s great for keeping him off the wet ground outside. The bed is incredibly sturdy; just ensure that the poles are seated securely and tighten the “bolts” firmly, and it works wonderfully! Our pup is already over 50 pounds at only 6 months old, and this bed is perfect for him. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is! Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I’m happy with this bed because my dog enjoys it. I purchased it for him to use outside instead of lying on the concrete to cool off during the summer. With a fan nearby, he gets the cool air and is much more comfortable. It took a little time for him to get used to it, but once he did, he’s always on it. I would definitely recommend it.

Purchased this for our outdoor kennel run for our Huskies. Assembling it was fairly straightforward, although connecting the last leg proved to be a bit tricky. We managed by placing the completed end on the floor and using the kitchen stove for leverage, and eventually got it into place with only mild grumbling. The oldest Husky immediately grabbed his pillow and decided it was a great spot for a nap before bedtime. Husky approved!

Although the assembly wasn’t super easy due to its IKEA-like directions, the bed is built like a tank. The metal tubing is of heavy gauge and should endure for a long time. My 80-pound dog immediately jumped on it after assembly. It offers great quality and value for the money. I highly recommend it.

Highly recommended! It’s durable, stable, and lightweight, plus it’s half the price of another raised bed. I decided to buy it after seeing another dog so content in his raised bed. While my puppy hasn’t tried to chew on it yet, I cannot confirm whether it is chew proof.
